The next generation of leaders are in our midst. It’s our priority at Waters Edge to prepare them spiritually and emotionally for what lies ahead. It’s important that they”know Christ” and know how to “make Christ known.” We build deep relationships with each other and Christ while we teach them the importance of meeting the needs of those around us.
Youth Flood
- Student Ministry Directors: Ben & Mandy Barnes
Flood is a student ministry (7th grade and up) that meets the 1st Sunday of every month at the office complex (415 Sams Point Rd.). This program helps students develop their relationship with God through their relationships with each other.
Bible Study
Bible study is held on the 3rd Sunday evening each month to help students deepen their relationship with Christ. The Bible study meets at the home of the directors, Ben & Mandy Barnes. Contact the office for their address.
Young Life
Beaufort Young Life Directors, Ali & Alex Holroyde
Young Life is a non-denominational student ministry designed to meet kids where they are in life. Local Young Life leaders (ranging from college students, to athletic trainers, to marines) build relationships with kids in order to win the right to be heard. We share with them how Jesus changed our lives and give them the opportunity to ask themselves what it is that they believe… We love them regardless of their response. Through weekly meetings (which we call Club) and Campaigners (a weekly bible study) and spending time with kids all across the city, relationships are continually being built with kids to help them with their walk through life. In addition, Young Life leaders spend time at the high schools, going to athletic and other events and building relationships.
